Passing Criteria
Those students who have appeared in the Secondary School Certificate Examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for the academic year 2024-25, let us tell you that to be declared successful in the examination, it is mandatory for every student to get a minimum of 35% marks.
In those subjects which have a practical component, to be declared successful in those subjects, a student is required to obtain at least qualifying marks in theory and practical separately. As the theory examination is of 80 marks, to pass it, a student needs to obtain 35% i.e. 28 marks and in practical, he has to obtain 7 marks out of 20.
Students who will get aggregate scores of 75%, 60%, 45% and 35% or more will be declared successful in the exam with Distinction, First, Second and Third, respectively.
Marksheet & Certificate
Students who have participated in the Maharashtra SSC Exam 2025 should know that the original marksheet and provisional passing certificate will be received from the admitted school within four weeks after the release of the result. As the result is expected to be released in May 2025, students can anticipate that it will be distributed among the students most probably in June 2025.
