Sahara India Refund List 2025: When to expect the payment release?

The investors who invested in the Sahara India four cooperative societies and whose money is stuck can get the refund soon. The government took the initiative to return the money of investors through the CRCS Sahara Refund portal last year. 

The people who have a claim to the Sahara India refund on the CRCS refund portal can check the refund list released by the authority to check if they will receive the refund or not. The article covers everything you wish to know about the Sahara India Refund list. 

Sahara India Refund List 2025

The Ministry of Cooperation launched the CRCS-Sahara refund portal on 18 July 2023 for claims submission of the genuine depositors of the Multistate Cooperative societies of the Sahara India. The entire process is digital to make it transparent and ensure every investor gets their money back. 

Through this portal, the depositors can easily claim the refund up to ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakhs. According to the reports, many eligible investors have gotten their refunds, however, many are still waiting for the refund. The officials have released the new Refund list for 2025, the investors can check the list to get the assurance if they will receive the refund or not.

The depositors who have filed the claim and are waiting for the refund can check the Sahara India Refund list in the following steps:

• You should first visit the official CRCS Sahara India Refund portal at https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/depositor/#/home 
• Next, you should log in on the portal through the Depositor login. 
• Next, on the dashboard go to the Refund section and you will find the direct link to the Sahara India Refund List.
• Click the Sahara India Refund list link and enter the required details, mobile number, Aadhar number, or application number.
• Once you submit all the details, the Sahara India Refund List will appear on your screen in the PDF format. 
• You can find your name with the CTRL+F command easily in the Sahara India Refund List.  

Which societies’ depositors will get the Refund? 

As per the CRCS Sahara India portal and the government order, the following societies’ genuine depositors will be eligible for the refund:

• Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow
• Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata
• Saharayn Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal
• Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad. 

The depositors who have made the deposits and have outstanding dues before the date 22 March 2022 for the first three cooperative societies and 29 March 2023 for the Hyderabad cooperative society can claim the Sahara India refund. 

When can you expect the Sahara India Refund 2025?

The depositors who have filed their claim for the Sahara India refund and find their application is approved, as they find their name in the refund list, can expect the authority to process their refund within 45 days of the approval.  

The depositors need to ensure their bank account is Aadhar linked to receive the refund timely. If you are not sure if your bank account is Aadhar seeded, you can visit the UIDAI website link at https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper and check your bank account aadhar seeding status. 

Another request for the depositors is that if they have changed their Aadhaar seeded bank account in the due time, they should visit their respective bank and change their Aadhaar seeded bank account. The customer can also consent to the multiple banks seeding, in this way, the refund will be processed to the latest Aadhar seeded bank account.

How much can a depositor receive under the Sahara India Refund?

The depositors who have made the successful claim for the Sahara India refund can receive the maximum value of ₹50,000 based on the aggregate value of all claims.  As per the reports, the authority has released over ₹370 crore to more than 4 lakh depositors who have claimed under the portal. 

Important Notice: The depositors who faced the payment failure or any deficiencies, can take action and re-submit their claim request on the portal. As per the announcement, the portal is accepting resubmissions of claim up to ₹5,00,000. 

How to resubmit the Sahara India refund request?

The depositors with failed payment can resubmit the claim request for the Sahara India refund on the new resubmission portal at https://mocresubmit.crcs.gov.in/resubmission/#/home. But before you re-submit your claim, make sure you have the following documents:

• Deposit Account number
• Membership no. 
• Aadhar Card linked bank account
• Passbook/ Deposit certificates
• PAN Card (if the claim amount is above ₹50,000)
• Receipt Number of the cooperative societies. 

At the resubmission portal, if you are a first time user, you must first register on the CRCS-Sahara India Refund portal, otherwise you can login with your Claim Request number to validate yourself and submit the request to receive the refund. 

The Sahara India refund portal is now working on claim amounts above ₹5 lakh, the depositors who have made the claim can check the refund list to get the assurance that they will receive the payment soon.
